LOW One-Step Acrylamide Solution kit

SDS-PAGE, which is most widely used in electrophoresis for protein separation today, is a method of separating two gels with different pH compositions into discontinuous buffer system.

This method has the advantage of stacking proteins using the potential difference between Cl- and glycine ions generated at pH6.8 even if many samples are loaded. 

However, the disadvantage of a maintaining a high pH level is that the glycine ion must be charged strongly with negative charges in the separating gel to separate proteins. 

In these alkaline states, disulfide bond dissociated by deamination, alkylation or reducing agent(like DTT, β-mercaptoethanol) are reoxidated, affecting protein molecular weight.

One-Step Acrylamide solution is a product that compensates for these shortcomings and minimizes protein changes by maintaining gel and running buffers in an acidic state and inhibits disulfide binding to Cysteine.
